About RuthAnn Lander, MSN, RN
With over 20 years in nursing and more than a decade of teaching and management experience, RuthAnn Lander combines clinical expertise, leadership, and a strong focus on quality improvement. Her career spans a wide variety of healthcare settings, from long-term care facilities to hospitals and educational institutions. Throughout, she has cultivated a reputation for building high-performing teams, championing process improvements, and mentoring others to excel.
Her passion for serving the senior population stems from her own family connections and a lifelong respect for the contributions older adults have made to society. Growing up, she lived with her grandfather, whose wisdom and guidance shaped much of her early perspective on the value of caring for seniors. This close bond instilled in her a sense of responsibility and deep appreciation for their experiences, challenges, and needs.
Early in her career, she worked as a Home Health Aide, gaining firsthand insight into the personal and professional dedication required to ensure older adults receive compassionate, high-quality care. These formative experiences continue to inspire RuthAnn’s commitment to improving long-term care and empowering staff and organizations to help seniors thrive.
RuthAnn’s educational background underpins her expertise and leadership in long-term care. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Community Health and Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, she has earned certifications that further enhance her ability to drive quality improvements, including the AHCA Infection Preventionist Specialized Training and the CDC Nursing Home Infection Preventionist Training Course. This solid foundation in both clinical practice and educational methodologies enables her to create meaningful, lasting change within long-term care facilities.
